Thank you, Betty, wherever you are ... Thank you, thank you, thank you. Because of you, I have enjoyed so, so many wonderful moments and ment an incredible number of wonderful people, many of whom I now consider my friends -- close friends. It all started when I came to your house for a Louis Killen concert. The evening began with the warm welcome I received at the door and -- after an evening of wonderul singing and storytelling -- ended with a jam to which eveyrone was invited. I was hooked that night. These were my kind of people! FMSOC'ers, folkies, traditional music lovers ... open, caring, friendly folks. Shortly after that I became a volunteer with the Living Tradition, working at dances and concerts, eventually helping out with the sound system set-up, and mixing sound for contradances. After several months of watching the TLT folks enjoy themselves dancing and convincing myself that I could enjoy dancing too, I was pushed out onto the floor (well coaxed anyway) be a new friend. Now I dance at least once every week -- twice most weeks -- and I can't imagine life without traditional music and dance. So thanks again, Betty. You changed my life!! I can't thank you enough! You're in my heart forever. Rich DiMarco
